HeMateMe: I thought sure Hou was winning when black got stuck with triple isolated pawns. I guess the advantage was illusory.
Sep-17-13  xanadu: There were actually only two doubled pawns since the third one was rapidily exchanged. Ushenina got the Bishop´s pair, open columns and diagonals, then I suppose she obtained a small advantage, although difficult to convert into a victory. It is not clear to me why Ushenina allowed to exchange her Bishop by the Knight. On the other hand, Hou seems more mature than at the first part of the year: she didn´t make mystakes and never tried to over pressure, leading the game to drawish positions.
Sep-17-13  xanadu: I see that the Knight jumps and penetration of the Rook by White into the 8-rank is difficult to stop by moves 27-30, then exchange of the Ushenina´s Bishop seems unavoidable. Draw is clear after that.
