  An Englishman: Good Evening: 24...Qxc2??; 25.Rb8+, but White still has a threat of 25.g6. So what about 24...Rd3 with the idea of 25.Bxd3,cxd3? The trouble seems to be 25.Rb7 threatening 26.Qc7 and 27.g6. What about 24...Rd3; 25.Rb7,Rd2?

Of course, White might have the wherewithal to take the Exchange and then stop the connected passed pawns. So is Black's situation already hopeless?

  al wazir: If 32...Qe3+, then 33. Kg2 (33. Kh1/Kh2 Qh6+ 34. Kg2 Qf8) Qe2+ 34. Rf2, and black is out of checks.
Aug-05-16  sachman19: Is it 1-0 or 0-1
Aug-05-16  Straclonoor: Exactly 1-0. If 34... Kxh7, then 35.f8Q and 36.Qf4
If 34....c2 -> 35.Bxc2 Kxf7 36.Ke2 etc. 1-0
Aug-05-16  sachman19: why h7 King can cross f7, to avoid queen birth
Aug-05-16  weary willy: Is this some play on "Author! Author!"?

Why ask if it's 1-0 or 0-1? - looks pretty won for white

Aug-05-16  Straclonoor: <sachmann19> OK. If 34....Kxf7 -> 35.Bc2 then white king comes to the center and eliminate black pawns. Game over! <weary willy> - Nice advice!
Aug-05-16  kevin86: Black pawns attacked first, but in the end, the lone white pawn is the winner.
Aug-05-16  Moszkowski012273: 12.f3... wins a piece and the game although it does get very technical.12.Nc3... was incorrect.
Aug-05-16  newzild: <Moszkowski012273> Yes, you appear to be correct. It's surprising that both players missed it.
Aug-05-16  Moszkowski012273: Even 12.f3... followed by an immediate (and kinda silly looking) 13.f4...and 14.f5...gives white a healthy advantage. What was played does not.
