Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-10-14  zanzibar: A little bit of an interesting final position:

After 50.Rh7 (White's best move):

The position evaluates to a draw, even though Black is two pawns up (such are the vicissitudes of rook endings), but is almost certain to lose one of them very soon.

50...b5 51.Rb8 (beware the skewer/pin on 6/7th ranks) Ke7 52.Rb7+ Kd6 53.Rhxf7 Kc6 54.Rfc7+ Kd6 55.Rxc4 Rf6+ 56.Ke3 bxc4 57.Kd4

or

50...Rb4 51.Rf8 (but not 51.Rb8 giving Black time to play 51...Rb1 with threat of skewer on f-file) Rg7 52.Rxh6+ Ke7 53.Rb8 Rg6 54.Rxg6 fxg6 55.Rg8 Kf7 56.Rb8

OK, now, why I'm here... to note that <TWIC> gives this as a win for Black, another <TWIC>-<CG> discrepancy for <Tromso Open 2014>
