Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-17-15  shintaro go: Another shameful 100 move grindout of a win against a 60 year old.
Nov-17-15  Pulo y Gata: Why should it be shameful, pray tell?
Nov-17-15  ndg2: Giri plays correct chess, but that's about it. It's almost mindboggling, how dull some of his games are.

This guy is 20, he must be bored to death by his own games, when is 30 or more.

Nov-18-15  Mehem: After Giri's 89.Bb7 Black should've stretched his hand and signed a draw by 3-fold repetition. The same posititon with the same dynamics appeared on move 73, 79 and 89.
Nov-18-15  Fiona Macleod: <Nov-17-15 shintaro go: Another shameful 100 move grindout of a win against a 60 year old.

Nov-17-15 Pulo y Gata: Why should it be shameful, pray tell?>

He doesn't like Giri winning. He's a So fanboy.

Nov-18-15  iking: <ndg2: Giri plays correct chess, but that's about it. It's almost mindboggling, how dull some of his games are. This guy is 20, he must be bored to death by his own games, when is 30 or more.> .. he is playing solid chess ... not losing is his mantra in life i believe ... once he mentioned sometime 2013, that after losing 5 consecutive games, he promised to play chess safely, not much spectacularly done by sac here and there ....
Nov-18-15  iking: tenacious play by Giri ...
Nov-18-15  shintaro go: Says the Wei Yi fan beeyotch
Nov-18-15  Pulo y Gata: <Nov-17-15 shintaro go: Another shameful 100 move grindout of a win against a 60 year old.>

Would you care explaining why this win is shameful, <shintaro>?

Nov-18-15  gokusano: Sagot shintaro, you are being asked. By the way, what is the meaning of your alias?
Nov-20-15  Ulhumbrus: Perhaps 17...Rae8?! is too optimistic, allowing White to keep the d file and use it to invade the seventh rank. Beliavsky may have underestimated his opponent.

He underestimated the 8th-ranked chessplayer in the world? That makes <perfect> sense.

Oh, how the vitriol would fly against Amish Girl had he not ground this out against the veteran, though....
