  Stonehenge: Dutch war hero Van Hulst died last month, 107 years old. Lucky the Germans didn't get him.

RIP Mr Van Hulst

Apr-19-18  Poulsen: He was decorated for saving hundreds of jewish children during WW2. A true hero.

  perfidious: Had never heard of van Hulst until this moment, but he sounds like a man of exceptional decency and honour.

I hope he came to terms with the choice he was forced to make in the creche that day, knowing what lay ahead for all those other children whom he could not rescue.
