MATTEO GLADIG
(born 1880, died 1915, 35 years old) Italy

Second in Trieste 1909 behind Giovanni Martinolich. He was unofficial Italian champion in 1911, ahead of Stefano Rosselli del Turco, Arturo Reggio and Davide Marotti. Gladig was killed in Laibach (Ljubljana).
