GrahamClayton: Reinhold Bergell (1841-1912) was also a renowned pianist. He created songs for single voice and choirs, motets, concert pieces for various instruments, string quartets and larger orchestral pieces. He wrote the lyric-romantic opera "Irngard".
Feb-04-14  thomastonk: I would be nice, if <Graham>'s information would result in a name change. Then we could also begin to clean up his consultation games, see Bergell / Neumann and in particular the funny pair Oskar Cordel / Bergell Cordel.
Feb-05-14  thomastonk: I've added birth and death date, as well as the small biography. The information is taken from his German Wikipedia entry, see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinho....
Feb-17-14  thomastonk: <Chessgames.com> Thanks for adding his first name. I'll examine the named consultation games next.
