 | | Open Defence: Yes Mr Lau, Vishy has a nice instinct for good chess, in fact I think he plays by gut feel a lot even in classic time control games which probably explains why he hasn't yet dominated the chess scene like someone with his talent should. Some feel that Vishy lacks stamina but I am not so sure, the way he came back to tie the match with Karpov and take it to a play off after the exhausting Groningen rounds show that he has a lot of drive and energy, I think it is just an impulsive nature on his part as to why he misses winning lines after doing the hard work |

You have to look no further than the Anand-Polgar match in July, where every game was decisive, not even a single draw. |
