Sep-27-07  Chess Classics: When I first looked at the players listed, I read Krasenkow as Kasparov and got really excited.

This is why I shouldn't be on ceegee so late, I guess.

blazerdoodle: How does one find out the conditions and time controls of such a tournament? Is this info lost when it hits chessgames?

blazerdoodle: Thanks for that ! Sometimes I find it irritating that they don't list some of these things here.
Oct-02-07  PhilFeeley: Too many draws to lower rated players by Kevin Spraggett. He was fortunate to get to a tie for 2nd. He only won £175 though, hardly enough to justify the trip and expense.
Dec-25-07  Timsun: He got free flights, accommodation and some appearance money on top of the prize money!
Apr-21-09  Raisin Death Ray: I'd rather play on the Isle of Woman!

<404 THAT PAGE DOESN'T EXIST! The page you were looking for appears to have been moved, deleted or does not exist.>

So it looks like we will never know <the conditions and time controls of> this tournament. They are as lost as The Bell (1931).

http://www.saund.co.uk/britbase/mon... has it all. CG has no missing games, no wrong game results, so why not have the list as the default view.
