Baarn (1949)

"The chess competition in the Astoria Chalet in Baarn started with a disappointment yesterday, as at the starting time the two Yugoslavs Borislav Kostic and Andrija Fuderer appeared not to be present. The visa problems were indeed solved last Friday, but the question remains whether these players have left at this late hour. For the time being their mutual game was postponed, but if they do not arrive today their places will be taken by Henneberke and Barendregt. So the first round started with three games, ..."
