British Championship (1904)

The first British Chess Federation (BCF) Championship was held at the Public Hall in Hastings, England, 22 August - 3 September 1904. Rest days: 27-28 August. Atkins and Napier tied at 8.5/11, after which William Ewart Napier won the British Championship Playoff (1905) in January.
