Hastings 1979/80

The Premier tournament of the 55th Hastings Chess Congress was held in the White Rock Pavilion, Hastings, England from 28 December 1979 to 14 January 1980. Rest days: 1, 7 and 13 January. Ulf Andersson and John Nunn shared the victory with 10/15, and the 14-year-old Nigel Short took his 3rd IM norm.
