World Junior Championship (Girls) (2018)

The 36th World Junior Championship for Girls was an 11-round Swiss held in the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Gebze, Kocaeli Province, Turkey from 5-15 September 2018 (with a double round on 7 September). Rest day: 9 September. The time control was 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. No draw offers were allowed until move 30. First prize: 2,000 Euros. Tournament director: Ozgur Solakoglu. Chief arbiter: Fahri Karabay.

Aleksandra Maltsevskaya won on tiebreak ahead of Tokhirjonova. Khomeriki was 3rd on tiebreak.
