Sep-23-15  waustad: As the World Cup winds down, the players list will become more impressive. http://www.schachbund.de/SchachBL/i...
Sep-23-15  waustad: I didn't realize that the single game weekend was for travel partners. Round 7 is played whenever it is convenient often, if I recall. Perhaps Solingen didn't want to play early because having Rapport and Ragger as the #3 and #4 boards was too tempting.

In the FBL, OSG Baden Baden is almost as dominating. This year they are missing Eva Moser, but have added Alexandra Kosteniuk and Antoinetta Stefanova as #4 and #5. They once came in second a few years ago, but ususlly win.

Sep-23-15  waustad: What a good idea. That really simplifies scheduling!
Oct-09-15  Mr. V: Anyone want to share any favorite Bundesliga games from this season so far?
Dec-09-15  KaosKid: Can anyone tell me where I can watch this season of bundesliga live on the net? Please note that I want an English website as I don't know German.
Dec-12-15  whiteshark: Round 3 is well underway: http://chess24.com/en/watch/live-to...
Feb-09-16  whiteshark: rd 3-6 (and most of rd 7) games have been uploaded.

rd 9 (21.02.2016 - 10:00) will see the top pairing <SG Solingen : OSG Baden-Baden> Both teams are undefeated by now.

HeMateMe: The Bund were spies, in America.
Feb-21-16  whiteshark: rd 9 top pairing <SG Solingen : OSG Baden-Baden> ended in a draw (4:4)
Feb-22-16  waustad: This could get interesting with Solingen leading in game score after 9 rounds.
Feb-23-16  whiteshark: <waustad> Yes, absolutely. And if they end up with equal team points (board points don't count then) there'll be an extra decisive match.
Feb-23-16  Mr. V: Will Baden-Baden finally lose?
Feb-24-16  waustad: Oh, so there would be a playoff match? I guessed not based on this from an Austrian blog (http://www.chess.at/): "Im großen Schlager gegen Meister OSG Baden-Baden holt Raggers Team ein harterkämpftes 4:4 und bleibt in der Tabelle mit besserer Zweitwertung in Führung." It doesn't say that the tiebreak does much though. Perhaps it matters for who gets relegated to Bundesliga II next season. Neither team in question is in any danger of that though.
Mar-14-16  waustad: Games from rounds 10 and 11 don't seem to have been posted here yet. They are on chess24, though I'm not thrilled by the interface: http://www.schachbundesliga.de/live...

The big news from round 11 is that SV Werder Bremen beat OSG Baden Baden 5-3. Solengen is now up in team points with 21 over 19 for Baden Baden and 18 for Bremen.

Mar-14-16  waustad: I've often wondered about how ratings are effected by league play. Sometimes people take a quick draw for the team or try to force a win in a drawn position because that is the result the team neads on that board. Several players I follow have lost a lot of elo that way, but being a "team player" helps keep the invitations to play coming in and paying some bills.
Mar-14-16  whiteshark: Yeah, 10 times champion Baden has been heavily beaten by 'my' local underdog team. Variety is the spice of chess life.
Apr-24-16  SASWATA: Soligen is Bundeshliga's Leicester City
Apr-24-16  sonia91: <Solingen end 10 years of Baden-Baden domination of the chess Bundesliga!> https://twitter.com/chess24com/stat...
Jun-15-16  zanzibar: I'm wondering if Chess-Results is incorrect in its Standings?

Anybody closely follow the <Bundesliga 2015-16> tournament?

In particular, I think the <SK Norderstedt 1975 vs. Hamburger SK> team match should be scored a win for Hamburger.

<Chess-Results> scores this a draw:

http://chess-results.com/tnr191830....

Where the xtab gives the score 4-4.

As far as I could track this down, it's because of this one game having the wrong result recorded:

J Kramer vs T Kahlert, 2015

It's a clear win for White (Kramer/Hamburger), and not a draw, as indicated here:

http://chess-results.com/tnr191830....

Now, I've checked this game from both TWIC, CG, and the official site and they all agree.

* * * * *

Can anybody help verify this?

Is anybody in contact with Heinz Herzog, who is responsible for Chess-Results?

Is there another source for Standings besides Chess-Results?

Jun-16-16  zanzibar: Does anybody care that <CG> only has 804 of the games for this tournament?

Or that the players are heaped together by rating, with 98 being inaccessible?

Or that no standings table is given?

Jun-16-16  zanzibar: BTW- the Hamburger SK club has a record of the Norderstedt--Hamburger match:

http://www.schachbundesliga.de/vere...

It also shows Hamburger winning 4.5-3.5, with Kramer--Kahlert as 1-0.

Jun-16-16  whiteshark: I have just now send the missing games (all games from the final rounds 14+15 and half of round 13), so let's hope for the best.
Jun-16-16  zanzibar: <whiteshark> I think <CG> is also missing the <Dortmund--Mülheim (R7.4) 4-4> match that <TWIC> is missing:

Jun-16-16  zanzibar: Also, what's the opinion on the <Norderstedt--Hamburger> match?

Does anybody know how to send corrections to Chess-Results?

Would it be through the official site?
