Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-12-06  Knight13: I barely know these players... And not many of them are over 2500 either...
Jun-12-06  MoonlitKnight: That's not quite true, half of them are. Ikonnikov is even 2593 and Tomashevsky is an 18 year old talent with currently 2595 - the top rated Russian junior. Romanishin is a famous grandmaster, but his heydays were in the 70s and 80s.
Jun-12-06  Knight13: <MoonlitKnight> Thanks for the information!
Jun-13-06  DCP23: <MoonlitKnight>, that's not exactly true about Tomashevsky being the top rated Russian junior. There are Timofeev (2646), Alekseev (2640) and Inarkiev (2602).
Jun-13-06  MoonlitKnight: <DCP23> None of them are juniors anymore. :-) They're all born in 1985.
Jun-13-06  DCP23: <MoonlitKnight>, I guess you are technically correct... I feel old :(
Jun-13-06  MoonlitKnight: Hehe, me too, I'm born in 1984! ;-)
