Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-25-12  zoren: Quite an upset for Timman in an early round against an up and comer in De Ruiter (rated ~2200 FIDE).
Oct-25-12  paavoh: And another upset for Nijboer in the French (Nijboer vs Z Kollen, 2012).
Oct-25-12  francis2012: Lots of e4 games :D
Oct-25-12  waustad: Thanks cg!
Oct-25-12  waustad: You've got to like Nijboer: +5-1=0. I've been watching some of the Grandelius games, but now we have more to work with.
Oct-26-12  HSOL: I guess the youngster Van Foreest has the most spectcular results with amongst others a draw vs Grandelius.
Oct-26-12  Rook e2: Keep an eye on Lukas (11), and Jorden van Foreest (13). Lukas came close to winning against Nils grandelius!
Oct-27-12  waustad: Grandelius won again today.
Oct-27-12  hellopolgar: <paavoh> upset? more like a strategic loss. as a result of this loss Nijboer vs Z Kollen, 2012, Friso Nijboer didn't play a single 2450+ player the remaining of the tournament.
Oct-29-12  Alphastar: <zoren> De Ruiter recently beat GM Sokolov in the dutch team competition as well.
