The tournament took place in Maribor, a city in Slovenia, between 5th August and the 15th August 1934.

Emil Kramer played a single game, a loss to Rejfir, before withdrawing - J Rejfir vs E Kramer, 1934

There is a tournament book: "Internationales Schachmeisterturnier Maribor 1934" edited by Milciades Angel Lachaga and published in 1974.
