Introduction
"N. Jasnogrodsky and A. Ettlinger will begin a match at the Manhattan Chess Club this afternoon. The contest will be for $300, five games up, with a time limit of twenty moves an hour." (1)

"N. Jasnogrodsky beat A. Ettlinger in the tenth game of the chess match at the Manhattan Chess Club, and having thereby secured five wins, he won the match and the stakes to the value of $300." (2)
