chessgames.com: We now have the games (so far) at the
Blindfold/Rapid Amber tournament in Monaco. We'll be posting new games as they become available.

Above are only the rapid games; also see:
13th Amber Blindfold (2004)

Mar-31-04  Taidanii: I'm very pleased to see Anand at the top of this tournament as well.
Mar-31-04  ruylopez900: Here's to Anand defending his "title" as Rapid Champion!
Apr-01-04  alfredazzopardi: I am certainly not a 'rapid' chess player and it is quite astonishing to realise that a player of the caliber of Anand is indeed the leading rapid player of the world. He deserves it and it is a joy to go thru his games. I am sure he is the admiration of a lot of chess players in the whole world.
Apr-01-04  ruylopez900: Isn't Anand nicknamed "the Lightning Kid" or something similar?
Apr-01-04  square dance: looks like kramnik and moro tied for first. is there any tie-breaker? poor vallejo only scored 3.5/22!
Apr-01-04  itamar01: this is my best site of study of chess, congratulations for all!!
Apr-02-04  jpunzal: Yes, Anand was nicknamed the lightning kid because he normally doesn't consume much of his time during tournaments. I would like to see Anand and Kasparov play in a rapid competition.
Apr-03-04  refutor: vallejo pons last in the blindfold and rapid sections...he scored more points in linares than here (21st Linares (2004)/Francisco Vallejo Pons) ...maybe it's time to mix up linares a little bit ;)
Jul-10-06  iCatcher: i want to beat everyone here!
