Amateur Championship Tournament of the B.C.A.—Open to Members only other than Masters. Entrance fee, 10s. Deposit £1 10s. Prizes:—
First Prize £20
Second Prize £10
Third Prize £5
Fourth Prize £4
Fifth Prize £3 (1)

Conclusion
The decision of the minor prizes in the Amateur Championship Tourney of the British Chess Association has been delayed through the holiday season interfering with the progress of the contest. Mr. Gattie took the first prize with a score of 15. Messrs. Wainwright and Hooke have each won 13½, and Mr. Guest has scored 12, having still to play Dr. Smith. Mr. Jacob's score is 12. (2)

British Chess Association.—The amateur championship tournament was concluded at the British Chess Club, and the prize-winners are: First prize (£20), Mr W. M. Gattie; for second, third, and fourth (£10, £5, £4), a tie and division between Messrs A. Guest, G. A. Hooke, and G. E. Wainwright; fifth (£3), H. Jacobs. (3)

The following is the final score in the Amateur Tournament of the British Chess Association:—Gattie scored 15, first prize; Guest, Wainwright, and Hooke tie for second, third, and forth, with 13½ each; Jacobs and Hunter tie for fifth, having won 12 each. (4)
