Kasimdzhanov Gems at Linares 2005
Compiled by The Contender
--*--

After winning Tripoli and becoming "champion" ( Kasparov and Anand didnt played in Tripoli) Kasimdzhanov played at Linares will all the tough GM crowd, and made a disaster with a record of 4/12 (+0 -4 =8) 0 games won, 4 games lost (it could have been more lost games) and 8 draws ,ending in last place, here are some of the "champion" games

Note: Leko and some others missed a win over him, but not because his defensive abilities but because Drawish attitudes of his opponents.

those games prove why this guy ( who came out of nowhere) its called "champion"
