Chess genius - and Original GM: J.R. Capablanca!
Compiled by LIFE Master AJ
--*--

I have been asked - literally dozens of times - to make a collection of Capa's games. However, perhaps because there were so many other collections that featured this player ... I had never really thought it was necessary before now.

Yet there was only one Capa. And maybe I might like games that no one else would choose. Or whatever.

I simply reached the point where I felt that I MUST have a game collection that featured one of the greatest chess players of all time. I HAVE ANNOTATED MANY OF THESE GAMES ... on my private web-pages, so be sure to read the kibitzes and look for the links!!!!! (ALSO: Note that many of the games are also annotated on this site, itself.)

The great: Jose Raul Capablanca may his games be appreciated as long as the game itself is played!

Created: WEDNESDAY; January 18th, 2012.
