The tournament was held in August at Alberta and was one of a few tournaments that have allowed computer players such as Awit (Computer) as contestants. Borislav Ivanov would've missed his chance to sign up!!

The Game Collection: 1985 Canadian championship did not quite seem to allow such entries.
