under construction

Held at Orillia in July. After six rounds, eight of the top-scoring eligible (two players: William H Boultbee and Dafoe) of the top ten dropped out) players proceeded to play two more rounds to determine a champion. The sum after the preliminary and finals stages selected the champion in this case.

James Narraway finished ahead of Ernest Saunders in both the preliminary and final stages.

A three round finale of six other players was also held to determine a consolation winner. Twenty-four players in total were competing.
