  1. The chess of Magnus Carlsen
The intro says it all, how could I not have a game collection dedicated to this player?

    Created: January 18th, 2012.

    2 games, 2011-2012

  2. The games of GM Lubomir Ftacnik
    L. Ftacnik is a great attacking player and also a top flight attacking player, many of his games feature assaults and attacks of the first caliber.

I began this collection on: Tuesday / November 8th, 2011.

    2 games, 1982-2007

  3. The genius - that is ... ... ... Alexei Shirov!
The games of A. Shirov (on this site) that I happed to run across and that I like. (Please read ALL of the kibitzes to any game here.)
    4 games, 1983-2008

  4. The great genius ... PAUL MORPHY!!!
    << Friday; March 7th, 2014. <<<>>> >>

Some of the best chess ever played, blazed by perhaps chess's greatest pioneer - and one of the greatest chess minds of all time.

<I think that> Paul Morphy was simply one of the greatest chess players that ever lived ... and he is one of my favorites. Certainly the gap that separated Morphy from the rest of his generation was very large.

    http://chessmetrics.com/cm/CM2/Play....

Here is my web page dedicated to the great Paul Morphy ... at the bottom are links to about 10 games that I have thoroughly annotated. http://www.angelfire.com/games4/lif... (Three stars/asterisks next to the game indicates that I have a web page on this game, you can generally find the link in the kibitzing section.)

[Without question ... in my mind ... Paul Morphy was easily one of the greatest players of all time. His genius is hard to measure, and he was a natural in open positions. And the gap ... between him and the rest of his generation ... was also greater than any other great player who ever lived.]

    Monday; September 28th, 2009.

I thought it would be nice to make a collection illustrating the various "named mates" ... (I get asked about this all the time.)

A good page for this would be:

FYI - Just about ALL of my websites have an "Annotated Games" page. For example, the website that I am best known for is: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera.... (This is my old "GeoCities" website, I moved it to its current location when GC stopped offering free websites.) The page for annotated games (on this website) is: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera....
