- Games to study
I hope to learn something from these games and have collected them so I don't forget where they are. :)

| 11 games, 1848-1986 - Interesting Spike/Grob wins
Just an effort to discover more possibilities with 1.g4?!. Started with all wins and now slowly paring down the ones with seemingly inadequate counterplay.

| 80 games, 1904-2009 - Pirc and Robatsch
4 games, 1980-1995 - Very good players losing very short games
Not everyone can be perfect all the time. This is a collection of players everyone admires getting resolutely crushed. There are other collections like this but I've tried to eliminate immature games / blindfold games / etc. Nothing here but players admired and acclaimed by all (including myself) getting 0wned without excuses. ;) "I had toothache during the first game, a headache, during the second game, an attack of rheumatism during the third game, nausea during the fourth game, and the fifth- well, must one win every game?" - Tartakower

| 11 games, 1892-1993 - Weird and wonderful responses to 1.d4
I love playing weird openings as black against 1.e4, but I haven't found very many equivalents for 1.d4 games. I've played the Englund with modest success but it's not as reliable. This collection is my attempt to locate a few other options. SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED.

| 8 games, 1966-1985 - weird positions
Inspired by the database of "real" puzzles at chesstempo.com, this collection is dedicated to odd configurations of pieces - the kind of positions that, if you walked up mid-game and saw them on the board, would make you say "what the heck happened here?"
