MissScarlett: <Hazz>, need to determine exactly when your match with <Bickle> took place. Off the top of my head, I reckon it was 2016.

However long, it's too long. Not as bad as Lasker who waited 11 years (or until Pillsbury was dead), but it's beginning to stink up the joint.

MissScarlett: <Hazz>, you seen <Fanny By Gaslight>? It's on Talking Pictures at the noooooo....Stewart Granger was ridiculously good-looking. Phyllis Calvert wasn't bad either.

We played some games ...

I knew straight away I was better ... that he was not at my level ...

So after winning a few I relaxed and he won some back

That's all I remember

What I do know is this

USER <TRAVIS BICKLE> is much missed on this site ... and one could argue this place has never been as good as when he was posting in here.

By chance I just watched the movie about Leeds manager Brian Clough, "The Damned United," which included footage of this game. Especially the punch.
