Sep-19-07  ALEXIN: Can somebody find improvements for white?
White seemed to have a winning attack but nothing.
Was 21 bxa7 better than 21.a6 ?
Finally, in my opinion white sacrified too much (till 3 pawns). But the endgame is draw.
Sep-19-07  Shams: <Can somebody find improvements for white?> don't play the Colle?

I keed, keed. 21.bxa7 doesn't do as much to open lines.

IMlday: 16.Bxe4 seems to win a pawn?
Sep-19-07  Shams: after white takes twice on e4 black has ...Bc6 and ...g5, but then, white has his own pawn storm I suppose, and further advanced...

  Pawn and Two: Fritz finds 15.b5! to be very favorable for White. Here are some possible continuations: (1.56) (16 ply) 15...Ng6 16.b6 Qxc3 17. Bd2 Nf4 18.Bxf4 Bxf4 19.Reb1 Rhg8 20.a6 axb6 21.axb7; (1.72) (16 ply) 15...Ne4 16.b6 axb6 17.c4 Nc3 18.Qb2 Na4 19.Rxa4 bxa5 20.Rxa5 Qxa5 21.c5; or (2.17) (16 ply) 15...Qxc3 16.Bd2 Qc7 17.b6 Qd8 18.a6 axb6 19.Ne5 Rf8 20.axb7 Kxb7.

At move 18, White should play 18.b6!. White has considerable advantage after 18.b6!. Here are some possible continuations: (1.73) (16 ply) 18...Nc6 19.a6 axb6 20.axb7 Kxb7 21.Ba6+ Kc7 22.Bxc8 Rxc8 23.Rec1 Qb4 24.Ne5; or (1.75) (16 ply) 18...a6 19.Bxa6 Ng6 (not 19...bxa6 21.Qxa6 Nc6 22.Rec1!) 20.g3 e5 21.Bxb7 Kxb7 22.Reb1.
