Jun-29-05  swimjt: 9. Kf1? (What was Maroczy thinking?) Alekhine gives 9.g3 Qd4 10.Qe2 0-0-0 11.c3 Qxe5 12.0-0 Qxe2 13.Bxe2 Be7 followed by ..Bf6 as equal. My Chessbase 2002 database has 6 games with this line: black wins 3 and draws 2.
Jan-04-06  Fdisk: 9. Kf1 is not too much worse than 9. g3. The crucial error was on move 16 where Maroczy should have played c3 instead of Qa4??.

Interesting try, but after 16. c3 Nxf3! 17. Qg4+ Qe6 18. Qxe6+ fxe6 19. fxe3 Rxd3, White still looks to be in trouble and is probably at least losing the e-pawn.

Apr-01-08  Knight13: 11. g3 followed by Nxd5 trying to lessen the damage wouldn't work due to 11...Qd5, keeping up the initiative and stuff.
May-02-10  thegoodanarchist: Making quick work of Maroczy was no easy task - nice tactical play by the Man AA!

FSR: This looks like one of my online blitz wins against random guys. Cf. NN vs F Rhine, 1977, played against a random guy on a train. A very bad day at the office for Maroczy, who was once regarded as a contender for the world championship.
