Maybe 28.♕e6 is a typo?

Correct is 28. ♕e5! and wins -- 28. ♕e6?! is playable, but after 28... ♖f8 29. ♘h6? ♕xd4 black is OK, as he is after 29. ♗h5!? g6.

Best seems to be 29. ♘d6 ♕xa3 30. ♘c4 ♕e7! 31. ♘e5 ♖xf7 32. ♘xf7+ ♕xf7 33. ♕xf7 ♖xf7 with a clear advantage for White but a lot of play left:

Dec-24-18  Ychromosome: White’s backward D-pawn is a good example of an acceptable weakness that is compensated.
