Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-16-06  maxxowar: 52 Rxf2 is a desperate try to get stalemate if 52... Rxf2 follows.
Mar-14-08  Knight13: <maxxowar: 52 Rxf2 is a desperate try to get stalemate if 52... Rxf2 follows.> That's impossible, unless you meant 60. Nxf2.
Apr-08-08  gorash: <Knigth13> he meant 62.Rxf2 I guess
Sep-08-11  druknight: not too fond of the way Bogo handles positional play. I thought he was going to play 20 f3 or 22 f3 to hit the N or B and restore that doubled pawn struture. WHy not 25 Qa4 as it pins the R?
Mar-01-25  tbontb: Alekhine as Black experiments with the Dutch defence and Bogoljubow responds with a less critical 7.Bf4 continuation. The players emerge from the opening with dynamic equality but Bogoljubow's 30.a4 is inaccurate (better Nxf5 with advantage) while 37.Rc4 (better Rb1) allows the deadly ....Rb8 then Rbb2 manoeuvre, after which 41.Rcxc5 is total desperation in a lost position.
