Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-14-08  Knight13: <13. Nxd7> Why trade white's good knight for that bad bishop on d7?

<45...Rb6??> is a blunder. Leaving the d-file cost him the game.

Oct-20-08  sfm: Cute finish! White picks up the exchange for his a-pawn, with an easy win.
Sep-02-09  kooley782: 15.Ke2! Bad looking move which allows the simplification into an endgame in which the two bishops cooperate better than the bishop and the knight. I like the way the a pawn was pushed up the board as well. Excellent game by Euwe!
May-01-25  tbontb: Euwe opens with a critical test of the Slav and Alekhine again responds aggressively but with a dubious continuation 10....Qb6 (better Bd7). A long semi-forced line ensues resulting in an ending where Euwe has a far-advanced passed a-pawn and a clear advantage after 26.Bb4, expertly pressed home for a convincing and much-needed victory.
