Sep-19-03  mkdir: could some explain me garys 33.Qxe3 was it a blunder?...
Feb-19-04  Taidanii: Why wasn't 15 Qxg5 played? Was Anand afraid of getting his queen trapped?
Feb-20-04  xu fei: 15.Qxg5 Bh6 16.Qg3 h4 traps the queen.
Jul-21-04  DutchDunce: Looks like there's a video of Kasparov's reaction to his blunder on Chessbase 100. There's a still snapshot of it at the chessbase site.
Jul-21-04  ajit: <dutchdance>can u plz post the link. Thank you very much./

Eggman: Was this blitz, blindfold, classical? It's so frustrating that there's no indication.

offramp: They were both upside-down in an elevator-shaft.
Feb-16-05  Backward Development: haha! excellent photos in that link... I really liked the one where the 4 gms are playing table soccer.
Mar-31-05  pantlko: <Eggman> i think that this is blitz.....
Feb-05-06  Tariqov: <pantlko>What makes you think this is Blitz??This is a classical game.
Nov-13-06  adalav: Yes it might be a blitz. Check out: http://www.dailymotion.com/visited/...
Oct-10-07  Landman: Looks like the clip's up at YouTube now also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZqc...
Oct-24-07  timhortons: andrew soltis (anand-kasparov,geneva grandprix 1996) "black correctly concluded his two pawn edge must win if he reaches an endgame for example 33...Nxe3 34.Qxe3..QXe3 35.Rxe3 and now...F5 is the most forcefull since 36 rxf5 ...rxc2 and Bh6....ke7-e6,should end matters fairly soon...but black threw 10gran away with one move 33....Qxe3?? black overlooked the 34.qxg4...white threatens qxc8 as well as rxe3 both crushing....black had nothing better than 34..0-0 35.rxe3...nxe3 and resigned 20 moves later

  alexmagnus: This game was rapid.
Nov-28-07  Eurotrash: <Landman> I laughed so hard at that clip. Chess is brutal.
Nov-28-07  Jim Bartle: Kasparov sure isn't one of those players who maintains a calm poker face.
Nov-28-07  Resignation Trap: Nyuk, nyuk, that 22-second clip (after Vishy's 34.Qxg4) was one of the funniest I've ever seen. Kasparov's eyes were as big as two watermelons!
Feb-08-08  jonnymalk: oh god, that youtube clip was so funny! already he was reacting before Anand made his move.

Also, there was really no need for Kasparov to keep a poker face as the mistake was obvious.

Open Defence: I thought Anand was probably supressing a smile as he made his move too
Feb-08-08  jonnymalk: Anand is such a cool customer.
Feb-21-08  Hot Logic: Imagine the audience reaction seeing Kasparov on stage - his eyes bulge and it looks like the move has physically knocked him back in his chair - this was a priceless moment.
Mar-11-08  sentriclecub: Here is his facial reaction. Landman's video link seems to be broken.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZqc...

Apr-04-08  Landman: <sentriclecub> That's the same link I posted. ;)
Apr-17-08  prinsallan: I love the genius that is Garry Kasparov, but he would probarbly be terrible at poker ^^
