Tabanus: According to Larsen's tournament book "3 points' forspring", Ivkov accepted the draw offer because he was about to lose on time.

Retireborn: It's a shame that Andersson missed a beautiful win with 25.Be5+!

For the curious, 25.Be5+ Kxe5 26.Qe7+ Kf5 27.Nd4+ Kg4 (27....Qxd4 is forced) 28.h3+ Kh5 29.g4+ Kh6 30.Nf5+ gf 31.Qf6#.

But if 25....Kg5, the computer gives 26.Qe7+ Kh5 27.h3!! which is pretty hard to see in the heat of battle with your clock ticking.

Mateo: A draw in a winning position for Black after 32...Kh5!.
Feb-15-17  RookFile: I guess that's betting than losing on time in a winning position.

Just to finish the thought, if 27....f5, then 28.g3! (threatening Qh4#) g5 29.Qf7#. Really striking.
