Aug-20-08  romengan: 60...Kg2

how does white win? i keep drawing this out

Apr-08-19  sudoplatov: 60....Ra3 should draw. Rooks Behind Passed Pawns. (Stockfish agrees.)
Apr-08-19  sudoplatov: 61....Kg1 loses to 62.R64+ followed by Rh4; Black's King is too far off now and 63...Ra3 comes too late.

Honza Cervenka: Both 60...Kg2 and 60...Ra3 should lead to draw with accurate play. Of course, the difference in 60...Kg2 comparing to the text move is a possibility to go to f3 with King after eventual 61.Rg4+. In fact, after 60...Kg2 61.Rg4+ Kf3 white has to be careful to avoid loss playing 62.Rg1 (to stop Rh1+ with next h3) or 62.Rg8 with idea to put the Rook behind h-Pawn. 60...Ra3 drops the Pawn but after 61.Rxh4+ Kg3 62.Rb4 black can cut off the white King by 62...Ra2 with theoretical draw.
