Nov-03-03  ughaibu: According to the "opening explorer" 1....g5 is black's strongest reply to 1.e4, over 70+ success rate.
Nov-09-03  Jack21221: And it is today's opening of the day. :p There haven't been enough games to give a good reading of the percentages.
Nov-09-03  mprchess: I dont think that there are enough games to show that it is "the best" response to e4. But i do like the opening...
May-23-04  Vischer: <ughaibu: According to the "opening explorer" 1....g5 is black's strongest reply to 1.e4, over 70+ success rate. > Also, if that were an efficient way of analyzing openings, 1.g4 would be the best first move for white, then 1.f3. then 1.h3 lol.

tpstar: OK, so taking 3. Bxg5 allows 3 ... c5 4. Be3 Qb6 and Black regains the Pawn. But what about 7. Nxc5!? Qc3+ 8. Ke2 and at least White has a Pawn for the trouble?

tpstar-AubreyLee (InstantChess 8/28/04): 1. e4 g5 2. d4 Bg7 3. Bxg5 c5 4. Be3 Qb6 5. Bc1!? (ugh) cd 6. Bd3 e5 7. Ne2 Nc6 8. 0-0 d6 9. f4 ef 10. Nxf4 Ne5 11. Nd5 Qd8 12. Qh5!? Be6 13. Bg5 Qc8 14. Oct-19-04  Apocalypse79: Two knights blocked queen's diagonal !!
Dec-16-04  filipecea: Why instead of 4.Be3 white just develop his knight to f3? I think black is already lost after 4.Nf3... Bizzare opening anyway!
Mar-10-10  WhiteRook48: 10 Qc5, probably
