A good fun game.

How White had the nerve to play 9.Qg4 then 10.Qe2 is beyond me. I would have let the e5 pawn go with 10.Bd3 rather than retreat my Queen like that (I lost dozens of games by not admitting my previous move may have been a blunder and trying to make it work...but there again I won dozens of games by adopting the same attitude.)

White sacs or drops a Rook no doubt falling back on the quote:

'If I lose it was blunder, if I win it was a sacrifice."

Here (Black has just played 28...d5-d4)

Both sides seem to be under the impression that 29.h7 Rf1+ is a perpetual. It appears so with the d4 pawn cutting off flight squares. but...

28.h7 Rf1+ 29.Kd2 Rf2+ 30.Kc1! no draw there. 29.h7 is a quick win.

White Queen checks on g6, g5 and h5 to take the phantom perpetual off the board.
