Aug-19-11  iking: <pulsar: Mali ba ang 47...hxg3, master? Sa tingin ko mas accurate yun kaysa h3.>

47... h3

48. Rxb7 h2

Aug-20-11  geniokov: As per diagram posted by Sir<iking>,I prefer <Nanobrain> position.
Aug-20-11  geniokov: correction: As per diagram posted by<pulsar> above, <Nanobrain> will win that game.I like the position of Black!

47...h3!! and black is better.

Aug-20-11  kardopov: <<<>nanobrain: For the record, the reason I failed to see <Iskubadayb's> blockbuster winning moves was because as the 9 other boards were finished, the kibitzers gathered around our board to watch, <casting so many shadows> on the board which produced discombobulating illusions. This phenomenon has now been scientifically proven-->>>< This goes to show that age and experience is not always directly proportional. Mas mahaba na itinagal ni sir nano sa mundo pero mas lamang ang batang si Wesley sa ekspiryensa sa mga ganitong sitwasyon. It comes to say that age is not always experience. Sa Chess, tayo ang dapat magpaturo ke Wesley not the other way around.
Aug-31-11  SugarDom: Was i there when this game was played?
:D
Jan-08-12  bubuli55: 44...g5 perhaps wins. < nanobrain > I take my hat off to you sir
Jan-09-12  TiburcioTinio: What's the plan if Wes plays 45.fxg5? If 45...Kg6 46.Rg8+ Kf5 47.g6 fxg6 48.Rg7
Jan-09-12  bubuli55: 48...Ra8
Jan-09-12  TiburcioTinio: 47.Rg7 first, then 48.g6
Jan-09-12  bubuli55: 47...Rd7+

TT. You are a lot better puzzle solver than I am. Don't go the long way around the park.

Jan-09-12  TiburcioTinio: You are correct sir bubuli55. However if the bpawn will not be guarded by the black room the white rook will just eat it and it might be a draw.
Jan-11-12  bubuli55: There you go! HNY Tibz :)
Feb-04-12  fokers13: I found a move within seconds of which i am extremely proud of: 31..Qc1!! which forces the perpetual after the bishop sac which ensues after 32.Rd8 Rxd8 33.Qxd8+ Kg7 34.Qxa8.

I understand that black actually gained an advantage in the text later on in the game but that is only due to the inaccuracy of white's play, for example 32.Qc5+ left black with his pieces completely paralysed and tangled while white was capable of easily munching on black's queenside unprotected pawns.

Feb-04-12  fokers13: And of course 32.Qc5 isn't a check:P
Feb-05-12  nanobrain: In your variation <fokers13>, after 34.Qxa8, how can black get a perpetual? Can't the white King hide at g2? For example, 34.Qxa8 Qc4+, 35.Ke1 Qc1+ 36.Bd1 Qc3+, 37.Kf1 Qc1, 38.Qd8
Feb-05-12  fokers13: I am sorry i messed up the variation.Necessary is first 32..Qc4+! and only then the exchange of rooks(33..Rxd8) so if Bxa8 you have Qc3+ picking up the Bf3 bishop.Btw i am in no way underestimating your efforts(you played a great game and actually congratulations are in order),but i just thought it was an interesting possibility. If white plays the passive Qd2? or something of that sort btw c5 is for black.
Feb-05-12  nanobrain: You may be right <fokers13>. Thank you for sharing your ideas. I like the sound of your handle too!
Feb-05-12  fokers13: Thanks for your kind words about the nickname actually it's a handle coined by my brother when i was really little and he had to make accounts for me.Have been using it since as a tribute to him(he probably took it from the movie himself:))
Jan-05-16  SugarDumped: Good discussion here of a simul game with some patzer.
Jan-05-16  Nonnus: <geniokov: correction: As per diagram posted by<pulsar> above, <Nanobrain> will win that game.I like the position of Black!>

Lucky escape for W.so.

Jan-05-16  SugarDumped: GM So was indeed lucky to have escaped this psycho patzer. But the stalking will never stop. That's the way it is.
Jan-05-16  Nonnus: Black's place in History is secure
Jan-05-16  Pulo y Gata: White's place in history in secure.
