Jul-03-12  luzhin: White missed a much better chance: after 35.Qh7+ Kf7 36.Rxf6+! Ke8 (not 36... Kxf6 37.Qf5 mate!) 37.Rxf8+ it's a draw after 37...Kxf8 38.Qf5+ Kg8 (else Black is mated) 39.Qh7+. However, Short would have doubtless have met 37.Rxf8+ with 37...Kd7!! 38.Qf5+ Kd6 39.Rd8+ Kc5 after which Black is still winning!
