Aug-04-20  MordimerChess: London System vs King's Indian setup.

Not much to discuss about it...
16... f5 is losing
25...Qc6 is also very bad and follow up 26...Nd7 is the last nail to the coffin.

HeMateMe: Did Nepo resign too early here? Black has a cramped, ugly position but is there a forced win for white?

perfidious: <HMM>, in the final position, 28.Rc3 is a threat, with ruination to follow at c7; hard to see how to meet this.
Aug-08-20  Ulhumbrus: The computer evaluations suggest that 16...f5 exposes the f5 pawn to potential attack and gets Black into trouble .

One alternative is 16...c6 supporting the pawn advance 17 ...d5 but in that case h3 and g4 remains a threat.

Another alternative is to try to close the f file before playing ...f5 so that Black's f pawn won't become a target on the f file ie 16...gxf4 17 exf4 17....f5 and now Black's f5 pawn is not a target for White's rook on the f file
