Check It Out: 38...Qb4 must be a mouse slip. Otherwise, Carlsen had some advantage.
Nov-24-20  Viking707: A mouse slip or a blunder. Even the greats sometimes make them.
Nov-24-20  SChesshevsky: Games are on YouTube with Leko and Sachdev announcing. Think Leko's a great announcer. Doesn't go in for a lot of long variations but tries to get the strategic gist of the position. But what really makes him great is his insight on how these guys think. Example after Nepo plays the dubious 33. Rd5.

Sachdev: "After ...c6, how is white fighting this?"

Leko: "Well, I think the biggest problem now is that white is in shock. And he might be completely disgusted with himself."

Been there. Done that.

Nov-24-20  Messiah: Ouch! :-)
Nov-24-20  Atking: Obviously a terrible mouse slip 38...Qb5+ was intended with a clear advantage to Black.
Nov-27-20  MordimerChess: Nepo was about to resign in a couple of moves, Magnus just outplayed him... interesting game.

Korora: I can imagine Nepo would have had one thing to say to that mouse: "Meow!"
