  Check It Out: 36.Re8! A nice finale. Stockfish has a forced mate sequence instead, but it's not as pretty.

  Clement Fraud: 26... Be7 would surely have been a better try?

11... Bc5? and 13... Nh5? (plan-less and infantile)

  tamar: Thanks for the interview link, as it shows Niemann’s mindset going up against computer lines.

You can see his eyes flash when Karlovich asks if he was scared pushing his g pawn in front of his King.

The only sense of 13…Nh5 he could see was 14….Qf6 and …Nf4, but when you face an opponent who has blitzed all his moves, you know 14 g4 will not be a surprise.

In fact, the engines think 14 g4 Nf6 is fine for Black, but it may be there is a narrow path later to avoid the passive position Dominguez got
