Honza Cervenka: 33...b4 is a nice shot, 34...Rxg5 is another one. The rest of ending is very instructive.
Nov-29-04  johnwgoes: Couldn't white force a stalemate fairly easily?

I really don't see it. Before the pawn ending, both players have lots of moves so stalemate is unlikely, and the pawn ending itself looks dead won for Black at all times.

<johnwgoes> (or anyone else who sees it), could you post the details of when and how White could force stalemate in this game?

Dec-04-04  johnwgoes: Forgive me, I meant a draw; but I see that the pawn will easily be promoted with the aid of the king.
Jan-20-09  WhiteRook48: interesting endgame.

Jul-10-09  sillybilly47: Harrwitz is a favorite of mine but he butchers the endgame here.
Dec-21-09  kooley782: Why not 25. ...Nf4? It wins, does it not?
Dec-21-09  kooley782: Ack, sorry, my mistake. 25. ...Nf4 26.Kg3.
