Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-16-05  Runemaster: Nadjorf bit off too much of this Appel and found there was a worm in the middle (28...Qxc7).
Aug-16-05  drmariogodrob: 27. Rxa8 Rxc1+ 28. Qxc1 Qxa8 seems like it solves the problem. Maybe not to a win, but half a glass is better than none.
Aug-16-05  sharpnova: 27. Rxa8 indeed solves the problem.

27. Rxa8 Rxc1+ 28. Qxc1 Qxa8 and i believe white has many roads to victory.

Aug-16-05  drmariogodrob: Sure, there are ways to win. I'd give it a 6.0 (2-0-8) for white. Perpetual check looms, and with careful play by black white shouldn't be able to force the exchange of queens.
