  Ron: I never saw this game by Nimzowitch till now. A good example of restrictive play, notice the position at move 24.

  plang: Nimzovich's aggressive play with 7..g5 was looking like it was going to backfire; particularly after he blundered a pawn with 24..Kf7. His brilliant combination starting with 27..Kh6 and 28..f3! should have led to no more than a draw had Colle played 32 Nf7+..Kg7 33 Ne5..Rg5 34 Nxd7..Bg2+. After the very weak 32 Rg1? Colle had to return material to avert mate and Nimzovich's active king led to a winning endgame.
