Kibitzer's Corner
May-18-07  WarmasterKron: Lovely Bird from Nimzo here. 26.Bxd7! was a wicked zwischenzug, the bishop being immune to capture or else 27.h6 marches the pawn to victory, supported by the dark-squared bishop.

Kmoch goes mad at the end with 31...Rxc2+?? and 32...Ne3+??, with the dark-squared bishop dealing another dose of pain, but may well have been lost anyway.

May-18-07  Timex: Kmoch needs to learn about glasses!

GrahamClayton: The White bishops totally dominate the board.

HarryP: Soltis, in Winning with 1.f4, says better for White at move 12 is "12.Be2, recommended by Raymond Keene." He goes on to say, "Another method of proceeding is 12.h4 followed by Bh3."
