An Englishman: Good Evening: And good example of what Saemisch could do on one of his good days. This game ultimately cost Bogoljubov 1st place in the tournament. Given White's tendency toward recklessness, it would not surprise me if Black missed a few good defenses, but he would not have made those mistakes if Saemisch had not made those sacrifices.
Jun-23-23  Granny O Doul: "Though Saemisch scored only once, the game showed him to belong in this company", or something like that, according to Golombek, I think it was.

Honza Cervenka: 32...Rfd8?? was a howler. Black simply overlooked or ignored threat 33.h5. After 32...Rh8 black position can hold.
