Feb-08-11  Everett: The crosstable seems to indicate that Timman won this game vs Bronstein. Perhaps the colors should be reversed here, with Bronstein losing with the KID.

perfidious: <Everett> Found this game on another DB (twice) with each player White, so who knows? The other thing is that both players' repertoires are/were wide, so one can't even be sure that Bronstein played his beloved KID.

Phony Benoni: This site gives all the games, in order by rounds. This game is from round 8, and Timman is shown having White.

In all-play-all tournaments with an odd number of players, each will alternate colors throughout. On that basis, Timman was due for White in this round, Bronstein as Black. I'd say that's enough confirmation for a correction.

Feb-09-11  Everett: BTW, the crosstable I alluded to if from the game collectrion of <suenteus po 147>

Tabanus: Timman had White in this game according to Golombek in The Times, Sept. 10, 1975, p. 2.
Jun-20-14  Zephyr10: In "Petrosian's Legacy" the game is listed as "Bronstein-Timman," which I thought might be just a citation error, but Petrosian, referring to White before move 17, says "but even here Bronstein manages to obtain a slight advantage."

Kind of stumped here.
