Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-05-06  Gouki: the bishop pair is crushing over the black rooks!
Feb-29-08  Knight13: 25. Qxf5!! gives White two powerful bishops (plus a good friend on e6) vs Black's pathetic rooks.
Nov-20-11  King Death: This was a surprising error in judgment by Chigorin. He had to play 24...Qf7 to hold the pawn, because it's not hard to see that what happens in the game is miserable.
Aug-07-13  mrbug: instead of 35. ♗e4 to complicate things a little bit Steinitz should have played 35. ♕d8+ ♖xd8 36. ♖xd8+ ♔h7 37. ♗e4+ g6 / ♔h6 38. ♖h8# for an easy combination to finish this one off
Sep-09-15  sportember: mrbug nice, but what if 35.♕d8+ ♔h7 ?
Mar-12-16  mrbug: Nice question, I only saw it now...If 35...Kh7 I think the continuation would be 36. Be4+ g6 only move 37. Bxg6+ Kxg6 only move 38. Qg5+ Kh7 only move 39. Qxh5+ Kg8 only move 40. Qh8#
