Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-02-11  rjsolcruz: This game by the Living Legend of PHL chess -appeared in Jesca Docena vs Rhal Sol Cruz in PACE Kiddies 2010. However, instead of the main line 7... d5, Rhal continued with 7... Bxc3 - opting to create weakness in his opponent's pawn structure. By the way, Rhal won this game, his first win against a "veteran".

Rhal, a junior member of the MERALCO Chess Club, was very fortunate to have the opportunity of playing with the distinguished GM a couple of times: 1st in MERALCO Employees Day Simul in 2007, 2nd in a training game for the ASEAN Primary School Sport Olympiad in 2009, and 3rd in Tahanan Walang Hagdanan Chess for a Cause Simul in 2010.
